How to obtain a license to conduct the medical activity?

Медицинская деятельность – это работы или услуги по оказанию доврачебной, амбулаторно-поликлинической, стационарной, высокотехнологичной, скорой и санаторно-курортной медицинской помощи.

Вы должны знать, что не можете осуществлять любую медицинскую деятельность без соответствующей лицензии.

How to obtain a license?

You can obtain a license by contacting:

  1. the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial-Innovative Development;
  2. the Civil Government for Citizens of Almaty at the place of registration.

To do this you need to provide the following documents:

  1. application from a legal entity or a natural person;
  2. identity card of an individual;
  3. receipts for payment of the state duty in the amount of 10 MCI (for 2017 - 22,690 tenge, you can pay in the cash settlement department of the bank or JSC Kazpost);
  4. information on compliance with the qualification requirements;
  5. document certifying the right of ownership (title deed), lease (lease agreement) or trust management of state property to a premise or building (notarized in case of failure to provide the original for verification);
  6. diploma of higher or secondary medical education (notarized in case of failure to provide the original);
  7. certificates of retraining or certificates of completion of advanced training (notarized in case of failure to provide the original);
  8. document confirming the work activity of the employee, according to the claimed sub-activities (employment book, notarized in case of failure to provide the original).

Turnaround time: 15 working days.

The end result of the service: obtaining a license or a reasoned response on the refusal to provide the service.

How to obtain a license online?

Currently, Kazakhstan has switched to electronic licensing of core activities. In this connection, you can get a license online on  www.elicense.kz web portal.

For this you need to:

  1. obtain EDS (electronic digital signature);
  2. register and authorize on the web portal;
  3. submit an application from a legal entity or a natural body with attached electronic copies of documents:
  • an electronic copy of the receipt for payment of the state duty in the amount of 10 MCI (for 2017 - 22,690 tenge, you can pay at the cash settlement department of the bank or Kazpost JSC, as well as via the "electronic gateway" when applying via the portal www.elicense.kz);
  • information on compliance with the qualification requirements;
  • document certifying the right of ownership (title deed), lease (lease agreement) or trust management of state property to a premise or building (notarized in case of failure to provide the original for verification);
  • diploma of higher or secondary medical education (notarized in case of failure to provide the original);
  • certificates of retraining or certificates of completion of advanced training (notarized in case of failure to provide the original);

This type of license provides the several different services. To obtain the applications to the license for an additional service you need to provide an application:

  1. to the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial-Innovative Development;
  2. to the Civil Government for Citizens of Almaty at the place of registration;
  3. to web portal www.elicense.kz.

To do this you need to provide the following documents:
